Using Basifield
You may use Basifield only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with your organisation’s agreement. You are responsible for maintaining accurate account details and safeguarding access credentials.
Workspace content
Your organisation retains responsibility for equipment records, documentation, photographs, voice notes, transcripts, findings and other content entered into the service. You confirm that you have the right to upload and process that content.
AI-assisted transcription
Transcriptions are machine-generated aids and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Your organisation must review them before relying on them for approval, safety, maintenance, compliance or customer communication. Transcription does not replace professional judgement.
Service availability
We work to keep Basifield reliable and secure, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Features may evolve, and material changes affecting an active agreement will be communicated where required.
Offline documentation
Open a documentation task online before using local draft features. Checkpoint answers and photo drafts can be saved on the device and synced when connectivity returns; submission requires those changes to finish syncing. Finding photos and signatures still require connectivity. Unsynced drafts may be lost if browser data is cleared or a device is reset, lost or replaced. Confirm that your work has synced before clearing local data.
Reports and sharing
Your organisation is responsible for reviewing documentation and reports before relying on or sharing them, and for choosing appropriate recipients. Protect report links and their passwords, set an appropriate expiry and revoke links when access is no longer needed. Expiry or revocation does not remove PDF copies already downloaded by recipients.
Pilot programme
Pilot access, onboarding and support are subject to the arrangements agreed with Basifield. Subscription billing and automatic plan changes are paused during the pilot; preliminary plan information does not replace your organisation’s agreed pilot terms.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, or use it to process unlawful or harmful content.
